Days that begin with llamas
The animal feeding opens the morning, a horseback ride closes the afternoon and the campfire ends the night — life on the ranch keeps its own rhythm.
THE MORNING AT THE RANCH
At 8 the basket, at 9 everybody eats

Slow-fermented breads and butter — Naturally leavened, baked before dawn so they arrive warm at 8.
Cold cuts of the season (ham or turkey breast) — Swap it for another item on the list — just tell us on WhatsApp.
Mozzarella — Fresh, for the bread while it is still warm.
Eggs — Uncooked, for you to make your way in the chalet's full kitchen.
Pão de queijo (cheese bread) — The Goiás classic, to warm up in the chalet oven.
Cake — Home-style cake of the day.
Jam and honey — Fruit jam and honey from Chapada producers.
Plain yogurt — Unsweetened, for the granola and the fruit.
Cerrado granola — With Cerrado nuts and fruit.
Fruit of the day — Whatever is in season in the Chapada.
Fresh-squeezed orange juice — Squeezed that morning, no sugar.
Filter coffee — Brewed that morning and delivered hot in a thermos.
Whole milk — For the coffee and for the kids.

Llamas ×8
By name
- Sid — The alpha male, tricolor: dark head, white chest, rust fleece.
- Paco — The ranch's baby llama, Penelope's cria.
- Penelope — Paco's mother — the two roam the pasture together.
- The llama is South American: domesticated almost 5,000 years ago in the Andes, it is at home in the Cerrado — unlike horses, dogs and cats, which came from elsewhere.
- Soft padded feet like a dog's: 90% less impact on the soil than a horse.
- A camel relative — same family as alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas.

- Three mares loose on the property, part of the family guests meet at feeding time.
Ponies ×2
- Two ponies, the right size for kids' rides — only children ride.
Goats ×4
- Four very gentle goats, always first in line at feeding time.
Rabbits ×6
- Six rabbits — the little ones' favourite for hand-feeding.

- Penny — One half of the pair — goes about with Peggy.
- Peggy — The other half — goes about with Penny.
- They are mini pigs: they roam the ranch and show up when food does.

Interactive animal feeding
Each morning, guests feed the animals alongside the team that cares for them: eight llamas, three mares, two ponies, four goats, six rabbits and Penny and Peggy, the mini pigs, all raised free across the ranch.
They are wonderfully gentle animals, used to meeting and interacting with people of every size.

Pony rides for kids
The rides happen inside the property, on ponies sized just right for the little ones — and our recommendation is the last hour of the afternoon, when the sunset light turns the whole Cerrado gold.
We are the only place in the region with ponies dedicated to children's rides.
3 KM FROM THE CHALETS
Private little waterfall
Within the farm where the ranch sits, a residents-only reserve keeps a little creek and a little waterfall — odds are you'll have the whole place to yourselves.
And without leaving the property, trails to walk and explore: native flora and fauna, the reforestation area and a seasonal stream that runs in the rainy season.
AT EVERY CHALET
Campfire nights
Late afternoon at the ranch has its own ritual: a sunset barbecue, the fire lit and the moon rising — with marshmallows toasting over the embers, just like in the movies.
Every chalet has its own fire pit area, with wooden chairs set around the flames.
ON TOP OF THE HILL
A sky full of stars
When the fire burns low, look up: the most beautiful night sky in the Chapada, whole, from horizon to horizon.
